Email Auto-Archiving Policy

Email Auto-Archiving Policy

Overview

To optimize email storage and ensure efficient mailbox performance, iCoreHosting implements an auto-archiving policy. Any emails older than 6 months will be automatically relocated to the Archive folder within the respective domain and user email address.

How the Archiving Works

•Emails older than 6 months are moved from the Inbox to the Archive folder.

•This applies to all users under each domain hosted on iCoreHosting.

•The archived emails remain accessible and searchable within the email client.

Accessing Archived Emails

1.Webmail (Roundcube, Horde, etc.)

• Log in to Webmail via https://yourdomain.com/webmail.

•Navigate to the Archive folder to view older emails.

2.Email Clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.)

•If your email client supports IMAP, the Archive folder will sync automatically.

•You can move archived emails back to the Inbox if needed.

3.Mobile Devices (iOS, Android)

•Open your email app and locate the Archive folder under your account.

Important Notes

No emails are deleted—they are simply moved to the Archive folder.

•Users can still search, view, and restore emails from the Archive folder.

•If you need to disable auto-archiving for specific accounts, please contact iCoreHosting Support.
