Junk Box and Spam Emails

At iCoreHosting, we use advanced filters to help keep your inbox clean by identifying unwanted emails, commonly referred to as spam. These emails are typically sent in bulk and often contain advertisements, phishing attempts, or other unsolicited content.

Junk Box:

Emails that are flagged as spam are automatically moved to the Junk Box. This is where the system stores potential spam emails, so they do not clutter your main inbox. You should periodically review this folder, as sometimes legitimate emails may be incorrectly marked as spam.

Spam Email Indicators:

Subject Line with ‘SPAM’:

If an email arrives with the word “SPAM” in the subject line, it is highly likely that it has been identified as a spam message by our system. Please exercise caution when opening such emails and avoid clicking on any links or downloading attachments.

Junk Box Storage:

Emails flagged as spam may be automatically moved to your Junk Box folder, depending on your email settings. You can always review and manually mark any message as “Not Spam” if it has been incorrectly filtered.

Managing Spam:

Mark as Not Spam:

If you notice that legitimate emails are being flagged as spam, you can manually mark them as Not Spam. This will help improve future filtering for similar emails.

Mark as Spam:

If a spam email manages to make it to your inbox, you can mark it as Spam to train the system for future filtering.

Conclusion:

Our system continually adapts and learns from your actions. By reviewing and managing your Junk Box and using the spam indicators, you can enjoy a safer, more organized email experience.
